Rationalize it all you want. How you think Shawn Bradley and his wife feel when Cuban says he would buy their ticket to Mars? How you think Nash and Finley feel when Cuban calls them his "sloppy seconds?" It crass, at best. And telling, most probably.

I didn't see it so I can't cast too much judgement but remember, when you say something, 10% of the meaning is what you say.. 90% of the meaning is in how you say it.

It depends HOW he said it and assuming Marc didn't say this stuff with ill intent - Bradley, Finley and Nash should be able to laugh it off. Might not be the most sensitive thing to say, particularly with Fin, and is defintely better suited in a personal chat as opposed to national TV but like Bradley, Finley and Nash really care.

Moving on - anything interesting revealed about the Mavs on the show?

But, heaven forbid any player dare say something negative about the Mavericks after they leave. Who cares what Cuban says. For me, I could care less if he told Fin and Nash to F off. No team would pay Finley the money he was making and Nash signed with another team. Bradley has always been a sub par player and needed to retire. Cubes is the Mavs owner, my owner, I am behind him. The other players are not on the Mavs anymore, and in my mind, dead to me. I hope people realize that Nash put us out of the playoffs and there should be a little more anger towards him then some of you actually put forth.

And yes, Cuban is a big dork, trying to be funny, but he has helped the organization more than anyone else, so I'm all for him to do whatever he can to make us better. If he wants to have some fun, let him, he deserves it.

Well I'd trade Cuban for Dirk 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. While I won't say that cuban hasn't helped the mavs, his efforts are grossly overrated by many fans.

Yeah having a 105 million dollar payroll really hurts the mavericks. Cubes wouldn't have traded Shaq. Get over all of the I hate Cuban crap. Cubes was joking when he said the stuff about Fin and Nash. He said that it was hard to let him go. In the real world deals are made financially. He overpaid Fin and will still pay fin. He didn't screw Finley or Nash. This organization was no where with out Cubes. This team wouldn't have taken Juwan Howard, Nick Van Exel and Raef Lafrentz all guys who helped this organization win. Nick and Dirk were the playoff heroes in 2002-2003 not Nash and Fin. Nash was coming off a horrid playoff run. Guards like running backs lose it earlier than forwards or centers.

Class is owning casinos and inheriting them like the Maloofs. How many owners in the NBA actually respond to consumers E-Mails. Not many. Jerry Jones was hated for a long time because he kicked out two popular coaches. However, he brought the Cowboys back to life with a risky move bringing in Miami Head Coach Jimmy Johnson. Fans wanted Nelson fired he was coming off three straight losing seasons the mavericks haven't looked back since.

o'man, some of you guys reallllly need to lighten up! The man was joking when he said "sloppy seconds." It was a JOKE or do u guys not understand what that is? I mean he even said he was "JUST kiDDING" like ten times right after he said it. But I guess making a joke is inexcusable ...
Not to mention that when he was serious, he spoke of how him and FInley are really close and that he told finley, (paraphrase) "his basketball carreer maybe 5 more years, but life is a lot longer, so when his playing days are done, he can come back to join mavs for life."

Let's see, since Mark Cuban bought the team, we've been perennial playoff contenders, have always remained competitive for a championship, sell-out every single home game, and have a bonafied superstar with a strong supporting cast getting us there, and are now ready to make another run for the title. As opposed to the Clippers, Hawks, Warriors, Magic, Raptors, Knicks, Bucks, etc... Laughing stock indeed.

I think most agree that Cubans wallet is a great thing to have and has contributed to the teams success. Obvious point. However, he has been such a classless dick over the years that the Mavs are a laughingstock. The fines, the DQ thing, the stupid on-court ref fight set up (although I too laughed at that one at the time), his callous commentary over the years, the recent classless comments. The guy is a dork. A classless dork.

man you guys are so ungreatful, we would would have killed in 95 to have this kind of org. I loved Nash when he was here but hes gone. get over it. Fin is gone, get over it. We have a team now that is the classic make up of a title contender. I love the Mavs- thats it, not the name on the back of the jersey, and I've got news for you. No one loves the mavs more than Cubes, and to think he would do anything he didn't believe was in the best intrest of the team is ludacris. Everyone wanted this makeup of this team, D-first and now you have it and your mad because we did it without Fin. Fin was not a good defender, we loved him for his O game. Take a second to see that Cubes got rid of Fin for the good of the Mavs-longterm- which is something that has to be done, be greatful for the fact we get to cheer on till the playoffs every year. If you dont think thats important check out the chat rooms for the Hawks, Raptors, Clippers......want me to keep going....Hornets, Knicks, Lakers...................

Nash, Finley and Dirk would have carried this team deep into the playoffs with or without Cuban. In fact, the only think Cubes did to that core was break it apart. The man is a plague on this franchise. The sooner he's gone, the better of we'll be... and that's from strictly a basketball perspective.

From a personal perspective, he's just a humilating embarassment. He's an ego-driven Donald Trump wannabe without the charm.

I'm sick of his act.
