This is seriously worst case scenario. We've got Colombo getting abused against a speed rusher and need Free in there for him. But unfortunately he's got to go in at LT against a bullrusher, which is his weakness.
This sucks. I hope the Cowboys can find out something to do with this o line, but unfortunately it's looking like a ship with too many holes and not enough plugs.

You know, the Saints have had success with Reggie Bush handling punt returns. I wonder how the boys would do next year with Felix Jones handling ours. Either way, that's definitely an area we need to improve on next year.

Felix supposedly is pretty terrible at fielding the ball on punts because they tried him back there in the preseason and it just didn't work. Not to mention, Crayton has been better at punt returns than Felix has been at kickoffs. Crayton isn't the best punt returner, but he's generally been pretty solid.

You know if Suisham didn't suck so bad, this would only be a one score game right now.

Dallas should use their first pick on a kicker next draft.

No, we need to use our first five picks on the OL.
I'm kidding, but only a little.

It sucks that the 'boys are gonna lose this game, but I'd maintain that the vikings aren't any better of a team than Dallas. The pass that G Sensabaugh never saw, a missed opportunity or two when Dallas had the ball in Minny territory...this could easily be about a 3 pt game right now and that's more indicative of the parity between the two teams.
I'm bummed but not inconsolable.

Really we were just dominated in one facet - the trenches.
Unfortunately, that's the one you can least afford to get dominated in.

And sure why not, Rice gets his 3rd TD, that's the dagger. Good winning streak while it lasted.

At least the 13 year curse was broken...thus progress towards the next Championship season.
Next year, it's NFC Title game or bust...expectations have been raised.
This team has the physical ability to beat anybody, but the glaring weakness appears to be the mental toughness to beat anybody anywhere.
At this point, they have to go with what they got...hopefully somebody rises up next year to become the heart & soul player who raises the intensity of this team.
As for Romo, good season...almost great...showed some growth, but then crumbled at the end. Sure the line had it's struggles, but it appeared as though Romo lost his composure and that opened things up for the Vikings to pin their ears back and destroy the Cowboys.
The other question, was on the 4th and less than 1...why kick the FG...it's not like we have a kicker who's a lock...go for the 1st down, keep the drive going and perhaps you break any heart the Vikings have on that drive...instead, Coach Wade settled and thus showed no confidence in his offense. That was perhaps the single biggest decision that ultimately doomed the Cowboys. That decision, marked the attitude of the team...the lack of intensity...coupled with the missed attempt and it was a big freakin waste of time.
