I think I'm now on board with getting Dirk one more playoff run. Sure, we're mortgaging our future, but if Dirk wants two more playoff games in the AAC, then he should get it. No one in the entire history of the franchise has done as much for this team as he has. i just have to keep reminding myself of that. It's about Dirk. It isn't about the next 10 years. It's about Dirk. It's not about the next 10 years.

So, go Mavs! Next year is going to suck, but let's get Dirk another playoff run, as short as it will be.

Pretty much the way I see it as long as Barnes is the catalyst and we develop some youth along the way.
I'd still like to see Bogut moved for another asset and I think we'll get a decent player in the draft anyway as long as we don't give up the pick.

The test for Barnes now is to continue doing what he has done all year and don't start deferring to the vets too much.
