Rockets aren't really on the rise...they'll probably meddle at the same level of good but non-contender play for a few more years.

I only have seen the 1th quarter and the Mavs had played very well with a great Wright...then what's happened?

You really are thinking too highly of the Mavs (even as a fan). the main reason the Mavs "played terrible (in your words)" is because the Rockets played great team defense. Dirk and Josh had great defense played on them for most of the night.
As for Terry, he was indeed an important piece missing last night, but that really doesn't matter all that much. You conveniently forget to mention on the same night all the stars aligned for Barea (which won't happen often).
Where is this lack of respect for the Rockets coming from? Just because they are a rival of Dallas, you can't objectively see them as a really good team? Homers...

the Rockets are a very good defensive team, but we know it....i think that the Mavs haven't a real defender in roster.

Well, the Hornets lost last night. Portland didn't. So the Mavs would have only been in 5th place.

You probably shouldn't include the word "objective" in the same sentence as a claim that the Rockets are a "really good" team. The Rockets are a better-than-average team, just like the Mavs. That's it.
You could play that level of defense on Dirk for 10 games and in 8 of those he'd still score 20+ points. Stop acting like the Rockets did some sort of amazing job on him. The dude missed countless shots that he normally makes.

The last game in Houston they were starting 6'6" Chuck Hayes at C. So I'm pretty sure they would have swept us this season if they had Yao that game.
Houston is just a REALLY good defensive team and have been for a while. Artest and Battier on the same team can't spell anything else
