Default Has Mark Cuban Learned His Lesson? vote

Has mark cuban learned his lesson on not going after a big man and do you think he will go after a big man this off season?

My vote is no

i'd also like to keep this in the general section so it can get more views and replies.

here's the second part of this.
will mark cuban try to make up for the trade mistakes and what do you think he will do?

thanks
ashley

I must point out he did go after "big man." After all, he did make a move to acquire Alonzo Mourning, but failed (thankfully).

I do not think the trades that cuban and nellie made the offseason were wrong in any way. If you look at it we have a great contract of walker which can be used as a trade bait. NVE had a great year but was injured and old and we got sixth man of the year who will be a mav for many years. I have no regrets. Only regret I have is the way nellie is using his weapons.

I think we have beat this one to death. But it does give me a chance to repeat my favorite rant.

1. NVE for AJ trade, great. Wonderful, wonderful trade.
2. Raef/Jiri for AW, Delk. Horrible trade, IMHO, UNLESS (and it's a big one granted). Raef never recovers and plays again.
Both AW and delk should be on the bench right now. Bad trade.

And yes cubes tried to get mourning (thanks goodness it didn't work) , bmiller (not looking so hot either) but malone would have been great.

Mavs still need a center (ANY CENTER) that is rough and tough and will either be played by nellie or kick nellie's rear-end. One or the other.

I think Cuban learned the lesson on to get a good center as soon as possible. Hopefully he can find somebody who can play some 30 minutes, having Bradley as backup playing the rest, some 18 minutes. But this only would happen if a new coach comes.

My vote is no...........

In fact, I'm working on a photoshop job of "Big Z" in a Mavs uniform at this very minute............

But what lesson is there to learn?

Cuban (and GM) are only trying to improve this team's chances of winning a title. The best way to do that, get a big man for defensive and rebounding purposes. What's wrong with that.......

Walker hasn't even been here a year with a proper training camp....he's yet to learn how to play with these "strangers" and hasn't gotten a set rotation or time in this year....

obviously the Mavs were loading up and making a "push" for a title this year and maybe next as well but you have to be very happy at your positioning right now you have 2 solid solid rookies....the big 3 still in tact....Jamison who can score/rebound or can be traded and you have Walker who can do everything but score efficiently and shoot a high percentage and also can be traded with his expiring contract....

If you believe C's fans, Walker stifles the development of young players.....isn't that funny?
