You need to get over that. It's not like Matt Jones fumbled on his own, he was trying to make something happen and a Texas D-Lineman made a play on the ball. He was being Matt Jones, that's what happens when you have a running QB. If you want to take away that play, take away the plays that he made with his legs to keep the in the game in the 1st place. He fumbled in the Ga game when you guys were within a touchdown...guess you don't count that as a loss either.

I am over it. Just stating that if Jones hadn't fumbled on a very routine play for him that Arkansas would have won. That's the truth. Texas didn't know what to do playing in front of that crowd. I've been to A&M (big 12's closest thing to a SEC environment) and arkansas games. Arkansas, admittedly being one of the lower echelon SEC football teams, has a better crowd.

Matt Jones fumbles ALL THE TIME. it was hardly because of the greatness of Texas.

Actually...this season Matt protected the ball very well for the most part. There were only two that I can even remember (TX and GA). He did throw some costly interceptions that cost us, though.
