Everyone makes mistakes, it happens, was it a good shot no, but he more than made up for it throughout the game.

Frustrating to think how close this series is to 2-2. Ah well
Great show of heart and pride by the Mavs tonight.
Dirk was BRILLIANT. In fact, brilliant doesn't do justice to his performance. In fact, no words do justice. Dirk

to fuel the fire:
I've been reading some of the nuggets boards. I see some people calling for Denver fans to print off pictures of Dirk's girlfriend to wave in the crowd. Classy.

I was pretty sure that was going to happen if they made it back to Denver. I'm sure he's expecting a hostile environment, they just need to stay united and get ready to shock the world.

I hope they do that. Pissing off Dirk hasn't worked well at all for them this series.

If Josh was 100% healthy he would be putting up 30ppg vs. the Nuggets because Melo wouldn't be able guard him.

Are you kidding? That place was a powder keg. From what I've heard from people, the whole place was ready to devolve into a riot if the wrong thing happened.

This was one of the best games I've ever seen Dirk play. He's never looked so dominant... and heck I've never ever seen him dominate the paint like that.
Loved it.
Still no hope at all that they'll win this series, but at least they won one. If only... 2-2.

Sure didn't get that impression from watching it on TV. Camera shots showed most everyone sitting down at pivotal times and the crowd seemed silent a lot. Maybe it was just a TV thing...though I've read several neutral NBA boards where the same has been mentioned...

I can't speak to the crowd sitting down, but I did read somewhere late last night that TNT had the game mic'ed such as to really minimize the crowd noise. A couple of my friends who were there said it was as loud as it's been in a long time.

This a very cute video of mavs fans sitting outside the AAC watching the game on the jumbotron. I didn't really know if they played it out there during games or not. Cute to see the folks faces...

The crowd was pretty pissed off last night. I've NEVER heard them shout at a referee like they did after awright(?) got a foul for having his neck up against melo's elbow...It went on for a full minute as full-throated as anything I've ever heard.
As far as Martin and the thuggettes...It's always funny to see thugs whining about getting thugged. Screw that team. The Nuggets fans are about as classy as their team anyway...They are the only fans I've ever heard shouting for their team during the national anthem. The only team in 8 years...
Martin is a whiney thug...I expect he takes after his mom...as most of us do.

I find it funny that in one sentence you calll the entire Nuggets team, and their fans classless....
Then in the next sentence go on to insult a players mom.
BTW...how would you categorize the Maverick fans that threw stuff at Kenyon's mom during the game?

Everything I've heard from people who know Martin is that he a good, down to earth guy. I guess when he pushed Dirk it seemed to set off a lot of deep seeded emotions in people. Not just the push itself but also the way it was perceived nationally.
Galloway had some friends sitting around Martin's family during game 3 and according to him the family sat quietly the entire game. They didn't even cheer when Carmello hit the three. Cut to last night and Ortegal said that this was the first time he's ever seen fans (in this case Martin's family) have to be escorted out of the arena through the tunnel. That sort of sorryness from our fans almost makes me not care if we win or lose. I have to remind myself that Nuggets fans are just as sorry.

The George Karl postgame conference was so bizarre, not only the guy looks like he is schedule to a prostate exam and root canal at the same time, but he mention that the Nuggets will be angry in the next game and to top it off he didn't know when the next game was schedule..."Is it Wednesday?, I guess is Wednesday"..so bizarre!

I agree especially with your last two sentences. When I was younger and when Kenyon was a Net he use to take some of us from Bryan Adams to Mavs games. He'd purchase about 10-20 tickets. I've had much respect for him as a person. I never understood the thug comments. He plays physical which is the right way IMO. Hopefully those fans are banned from ever attending Mavs games. Makes you embarrassed to be a Mavs fan. But they're just doing basically what they expect their owner to do.

Great Game. See this is why it pains me that we have to go back to denver down 3-1 instead of tied up 2-2. Its alright though, we can beat them. Im pretty sure we can beat them now, in the early portion of the game they were hitting 3's, dunking and were on a major rally. I kept saying " They can't shoot like this all game long". I knew if we could be tough enough to withstand that rally we could possibly win the game and we did. Time to shock the world. let's go Mavs!
PS Lol @ George Karl. What a Puss lol

Yeah. Green will try to dunk everything inside the 3pt line! He is decent at shot blocking too. Not a great passer but he is my starting SG. Light years better than Matt Carroll.

DNews photostream from last night.
In picture 20, I'm sure Jason Terry is holding up his first finger to represent 1 win as opposed to "Number 1"...
