This is explained in part by the fact that Paul Pierce is pretty much a shell of his former self and the defense can sag into the lane anytime Rondo is out there. Rondo takes as much off the table as he brings at this point. Also Baby is undersized and played terribly and Jeff Green is kinda weak. The rest of the team is jump shooters. They can score down the stretch of games and the defense isnt quite as good as it was with Perkins and Tony Allen

I don't want to see those two drama queens, Wade and LeBron, in the finals. Can't stand seeing them winning. OK, losing, that would be something different.

You forgot to mention the threat of Dampiers defensive pow'es luming on Miami's inactive roster.
