To Cubes:

Plan A

1) Dump Lewis before he dumps you
2) Try to get Donyell Marshall to agree to a 3 year $9 mil deal.
3) Try to get Popeye Jones to agree to a 3 year $4.5 million deal.
4) Sign Najera to a 3 year $9 mil deal
5) Sign Wang to a 3 year $9 mil deal
6) Sign Charles Oakley for the veteran minimum.

Lineup

PG Steve Nash/Nick Van Exel
SG Michael Finley/Adrian Griffin/Tariq Abdul-Wahad
SF Donyell Marshall/Eduardo Najera
PF Dirk Nowitzki/Popeye Jones/Charles Oakley
C Raef Lafrentz/Wang Zhi Zhi

"Injured" Reserve: Avery Johnson, Shawn Bradley, Evan Eschmeyer

Plan B (if Donyell won't accept anything less than a mid-level exception)

1) Sign Marshall to mid-level exception
2) Forget Popeye unless he agrees to veteran minimum
3) Copy the rest of Plan A

Plan C (if Donyell doesn't come here)

1) Trade Finley and Nash to Minnesota for Garnett
2) Trade Dirk Nowitzki to Spurs for Tim Duncan
3) Trade Nick Van Exel to New York for Latrell Sprewell
4) Trade Raef Lafrentz and Shawn Bradley to Utah for Karl Malone and John Stockton

Lineup

PG John Stockton
SG Latrell Sprewell
SF Kevin Garnett
PF Karl Malone
C Tim Duncan
we can challenge the lakers with this lineup.

Don't you think the Mavs are getting the better of all these deals? You dont actually think that those other teams will go for those lopsided deals?

Oh yeah let's trade for Shaq kobe, and Kidd. Give me a break let's trade for all the 1st team all NBA. Marshall is marginal player at best. The Rashard thing isn't over yet he is 23 compared to Marshalls 29. Screw that Bonzi Wells is a more explosive player if any move should happen he should come to the Mavs. Rashard said he would make a decision by the end of the month. ____ Justin
