Start already damit i want the Mavs to have some payback on the Heat i'm predicting a blow-out once we play them. but overall i just want the season to start. also it should be interesting to see how much Cuban gets fined for a full year.

Hey P&G. It's nice to hear how much of a Mav fan you really are though your first team of choice are the Lakers. You are good guy, sorry if your Lakers doesnt get as much love in this board. Dont worry, i voted for the spurs as my most hated team.
BTW back to the topic. Yeah! I'm so effn pumped already! I hope the Mavs sweep their season series with them Heat. Ooh Dwade got it comin' at him real bad, and I just cant wait to see it happen. Hey Dwade! Fall seven times, stand up no more! I'm tired of your ISHT! LOL

You could always put yourself into a drug-induced, two-month stupor. Technically you will still be waiting, but you won't know it quite as much.
Then again, you would miss out on the upcoming big trade, not to mention training camp. Tough call.

I was feeling this way two weeks ago, but now that football is here, I'm ok.
I'm still ready for basketball, but the NFL will tide me over until then.

I can't wait to see this squad in action (barring any trades...)

It may not always seem that way... but this is the shortest off-season in Mavs' history.

haha that's a good point V2M, but I think what happened in the finals makes us want next season that much more.

January 21: Mavs 101, Heat 83. My prediction on the second game depends on how the first game actually goes...

There's a team that ply’s its craft in Irving and they're primed to add an NFL record 6th Super Bowl trophy to the mantle...basketball can wait.

Yep, that's how I'm feeling too. I want the season to start, but the anticipation is being helped a little by football starting up.

I'm so ready! The Mavs kick off preseason play on my birthday. It can't come soon enough (the season that is, not the b-day. when you are this old, b-days are highly overrated)!

I'll be honest with you. The Mavs could make a blockbuster trade with Golden State (we know Golden State will make a blockbuster trade with *somebody*) this Sunday at 3pm...and I'm afraid I'd have to wait a few hours to hear the details.

Um...it was strictly hypothetical and hyperbole. If some kind of trade did happen, I might have to stop down my Cowboys watching to look at it. It would be a tough call, though.
