Default "Coke Ennyday"

I was watching something on the tv and they were reviewing reefer madness. Well I saw it a long, long time ago. At the same time there was a silent movie short that was much wilder I thought at the time.

I couldn't remember the name of it except that it was about a detective and his name was "Coke Ennyday". It was pretty wild as he had four stages of his life. Dope, Drink, Sleep, (something else).

But basically he would shoot up with cocaine, go bouncing around like a jumping jack. Then he found some pure opium and started eating it out of the tin. Well lo and behold I found it. It's a complete farce but it's so out there with such blatant drug usage that it's funny.

"Mystery of the Leaping Fish". 1916 starring Douglas Fairbanks. and it's dowloadable on google video.

Damn that internet thing just might catch on after all.
