I'm glad you recognize it. If folks don't know your name, you are a man without an identity. And a man without an identity...well, that man is always going to wear a suit.

With an easier schedule coming up, the Rockets should start improving record wise.

Look at this example:

Team A plays the Lakers, Celtics, Heat, and Nets. Team A loses to the first three teams by 3 points each, but blows out the Nets by 40. Then, you have Team B, who plays the Nets, Wizards, Clippers, and Lakers. Team B beats the first three teams by 10 points each, but gets blown out by the Lakers by 40. Who is the better team?

Hmm...well losing to the Wizards certainly doesn't help that case....

Did anybody else just saw the T on Robinson? He didn´t even say anything - just shrugged a little bit and walked away... .

The new NBA technical rule is utter bullcrap.

So, what's the over/under on days until Riley takes over? I'm going to tentatively set it at 45.5.

Whats hilarious is that the so called NBA analysts were saying that Miami will challenge the Bulls 72-10 record...well they will need to go 67-6, which is laughable

No team, and I repeat no team will match that record...there is too much widespread talent in the NBA for one team to simply win 72 games

I was a little surprised how awful Wade looked on several of those defensive possessions.

Bottom line, they look like a team that thinks their talent will win games for them. I have to admit that I was getting a little scared considering how thoroughly everyone was trashing them in the offseason. I figured that pride would kick in, and we'd see a ticked off Heat team run through the league. So far we've seen the exact opposite. You wonder if the light is going to come on, or if they are going to try to sleepwalk their way through the season.

Another divorce, this time Brangelina...eh Parker and Longoria:

Guess because he choosed with the extension the Spurs over the Big Apple.

TRAIL BLAZERS CENTER GREG ODEN TO UNDERGO MICROFRACTURE SURGERY FRIDAY

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden will undergo microfracture surgery on his left knee Friday and will miss the remainder of the 2010-11 season, the Trail Blazers announced this evening.

Dr. Richard Steadman will perform the surgery with assistance from Trail Blazers orthopedic surgeon Dr. Don Roberts at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colo.

Oden, 22, has been sidelined since fracturing his left patella in a Dec. 5, 2009, game vs. Houston. A recent MRI showed damaged cartilage to the surface of his femur, and his current injury is unrelated to the fractured left patella.

Oden previously underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee Sept. 13, 2007.

He holds career NBA averages of 9.4 points, 7.3 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 1.43 blocked shots in 82 games over parts of two seasons from 2008-09.

Is there any question that Michael Beasley is the MIP in the first 12 or so games? I know he is allowed to shoot at will in Minny, but 14-23 last night is a good percentage. Shooting 50% at 22 ppg and 52% from three is something I doubt many expected.
