So clint was on the lefties side during iraq way before the democrats were. figures, Clint has convictions, not pollsters.

http://pjmedia.com/instapundit/201472/
"MARK HEMINGWAY: The American Sniper Freakout: Why The Left Can’t Tolerate This Movie. “The film is primarily about the heroism of soldiers who, thrust into battle by larger forces, do their best to protect each other and innocent Iraqis. Clint Eastwood, often described as one of the few prominent right-wingers in Hollywood, opposed the invasion of Iraq and questioned the invasion of Afghanistan. Even so, the film’s lack of left-wing politics has been treated in some quarters as an unpardonable sin.” Gleichschaltung!"

Nothing political here, just a character study...

Frank Castle is the Main Character of American Sniper

Who cares if a bunch of righties want to circle-jerk to this movie? No different than when lefties circle-jerked to Fahrenheit 9-11.

Was the guy a d-bag? Probably. Is the movie propaganda? Probably. Will anyone remember this any longer than they did the Chik-fil-A or Duck Dynasty circle-jerk? Probably not.

Box Office: 'American Sniper' Targets Super Bowl Record, Heads for 250 million.

Clint smiles, takes a big draw on a cigar and says scoreboard sissies.

I would be willing to bet every penny to my name that the Democratic candidate is going to win the election next November. Care to make a friendly wager?

No, I dont make stupid bets. I have a lot of pennys.

Plus after watching this country elect a complete incompetent like obama, i wouldnt put anything past them. Hell i even voted for him in the primary because i couldnt believe the country would elect such a moron versus hillary. I was certainly wrong about that one.

But whether the pubbies win or lose. They still are quite comfortable running against hillary. We will see. I expect hillary will not be able to carry off the blatant falsehoods during the campaign that obama was able to. Being called sexist when criticizing hillary doesnt carry the same weight as being called racist does.

Plus i dont think there is nearly as much "sexist" guilt voting for hillary as there was for obama.

Michelle obama is some kinda stupid according to the libs. Rich..

"One issue Michelle Obama has been particularly passionate about is taking care of America’s veterans, and today she praised the movie American Sniper for showing such a complex portrayal of what U.S. servicemembers go through.

Now, this being a film about a man who served in the Iraq War, obviously all liberals have to hate it and all red-blooded conservatives have to love it, because what is the movie-going experience if not hopelessly partisan. So don’t be surprised if you hear some heads exploding upon hearing this news.

The First Lady participated in a panel discussion at National Geographic headquarters in D.C. today about the veterans’ initiative Got Your 6, focused on building stronger connections between civilians/Hollywood and the U.S. military. One of the panelists today was none other than Bradley Cooper, the star of American Sniper."

"The Truth About American Sniper
Chris Kyle wasn’t a savage; he killed savages.
30 January 2015

Clint Eastwood’s new film, American Sniper, is a blisteringly accurate portrayal of the American war in Iraq. Unlike most films in the genre, it sidesteps the politics and focuses on an individual: the late, small-town Texan, Chris Kyle, who joined the Navy SEALs after 9/11 and did four tours of duty in Fallujah, Ramadi, and Baghdad. He is formally recognized as the deadliest sniper in American history, and the film, based on his bestselling memoir, dramatizes the war he felt duty-bound to fight and his emotionally wrenching return home, with post-traumatic stress."

Neither side seems to have an outstanding candidate, at least currently. But, assuming Clinton wins the nomination, she won't win the general election I don't think. No one gets out the Republican vote like Hillary, and some on the left don't like her either. She may be the most qualified candidate running, but would also probably be the least likable or trustworthy. What the heck, I'll wager a beer on it. Worst case scenario...I still get to drink a beer!

If it's Bush vs Clinton again, then we all lose.

I like Sanders, I think he has a chance to steal the nomination from Hillary.

Reminds me of a few critiques I saw of Lone Survivor, talking about it being too 'over the top'....clearly completely unaware that it was a very accurate, and if anything toned down, depiction of actual events, not something someone made up. Which, like this one, just made the reviewer too dumb to critique it.
