They didn't want to play the free agency game with Parsons. Once he opted out they were done with him. They were more than willing to pay thier top three targets whatever it took.

I disagree. I think if Parsons would've taken a 4 year 60 million dollar deal they would've matched that. I don't fault them for not giving him that contract. But I think they are fooling themselves if they think they can get talent in here without overpaying tremendously.
