If Finley does get waived, would bringing Jon Steffanson to be our shooter be a good idea?

Jon played in Russia with Dynamo St Peterburg, won the FIBA Europe League and was a starter on the All-Star team. However
I don't think he'd be a solution as a shooter, his game is more about driving to the basket, although he's a very capable shooter. But his defense is the strongest side of his game.
