Dallas trades:
Jason Terry Maquis Daniels or Jerry Stackhouse Dallas Receives: Matt Harpring Kirk Snyder Kelvin Cato Orlando Trades: Kelvin Cato Orlando Receives: Marquis Daniels or Jerry Stackhouse Utah trades: Matt Harpring Kirk Snyder Utah Receives: Jason Terry Dallas gets more defense and sings Antonio Daniels to be the starting point gaurd until Harris is ready. I know we lose talent wise on this deal big time, but we become a terrific defensive team with efficient scorers on the floor. Heres the lineup: Antonio Daniels/Harris/Armstrong? Harpring/Stackhouse or Daniels Howard/Snyder/vet min (maybe bring Griffin back or get a shooter) Dirk/KVH/Henderson? Dampier/Cato/DJ/Pavel Then see what you can get for Finley if they really want to trade him if not you still have a solid roster with whats left over. What do you think?? |

I don't like it at all. We basically give up a LOT to get Kelvin Cato. I'd rather not trade for Harpring (no need) and Snyder hasn't shown much in the NBA yet for him to have much value.

I dont think it is quite as bad as everyone else, but I still wouldnt do it. Getting rid of Jason Terry is very dangerous. He will be better equipped to handle the offense this year, so he is very valueble considering we dont know if Harris is ready. I like Harpring a lot and I want Cato. I do not like Kirk Snyder and I cant imagine him playing alongside Jerry Stackhouse after their fight last year.

I don't mind getting rid of terry and daniels in a package if we get back an all-star type player. But for calvin, matt and kirk, no way.
