GDT Mavs @ Suns 9:30pm CST 1/9/2009
I owe you guys a GDT due to my debacle before where I failed to make one for the Spurs game, after being 2-0 in previous games.
The timing of this game sort of frustrates me, as until Tuesday afternoon I was staying at a hotel in downtown PHX that was literally 1 block away from the US Airways Center. I'm on winter break, so I honestly would have stayed in PHX a couple extra days to go to this game, but my buddy who was on the trip with me had to come back to Austin for work.
Oh well. Go Mavs!

It's gonna be a blowout with JHO redeeming himself getting a tip-in at the buzzer to win, 104-102.

lol, now were on the same page.. How bout, with the scored tied at 102 all, then JHo getting fouled with no time left, misses the first one with an airball. Then getting 5 bounces before it finally went in, thus winning the game and redeeming himself..

Yes, 4:47 am German Time, respectively 5:47 for me... Well, not coffee, but some beer But it's about the Mavs, so I don't have a choice

I will stay up until 4:30 (AM) in Germany to watch the mavs play!!!
We have to win this one..."DIRK WILL BE THE ONE_MAN_REDEEM_TEAM" and bring home gold today.haha... altough it would be nice to see jt, kidd and jho contribute. Kidd has to continue the trend of being at least some sort of offensive scoring thread...
On a sidenote: The screwed-up voting for the popularity contest called "All-Star game" is just ridiculous. It has nothing to do with performance whatsoever (at least from my German perspective)...I find it quite frustrating.
GO MAVS

Thanks! Sometimes like just now I'm asking myself why I'm doing this almost every night... Today I had to stand up at 8am with the tiny amount of just 2-3 hours of sleep due to the Knicks game. Well, but I can't help it, I simply have to watch. Which implies my duty for tonight as well

...yea, if their running the double headers on ESPN, count on it. players all warmed up and ready to go, then cool off again.
Shaq missed the last game, back spasms.
Read a bit the Mavs were talking to Pop Mensah Bonsu about a return:

Thank god for crazy people like you, who justify me doing the same thing. At least I'm not the only crazy person, so how crazy can it be really? 4:30 am start; just suck at life a little more than usual tomorrow.

I meant playtime/rotation...
(no point in bringing the Whale Killer back if we're just going to let him rot on the bench until we cut him again...)

The voice is gonna be horse tomorrow.
Hey Antoine Wright two solid games in a row. Let's keep it going and keep George benched!

I love me some Pops, but why would we sign him over someone like Courtney Sims? The guy is unaffiliated and is averaging 22.7ppg, 12.5rpg, 2.7bpg in the D. This past thanksgiving he even celebrated by having a huge triple double of 22points, 17rebounds and 11 blocks.

Mavs win a close one, but J-Rich throws down a vicious dunk and posterizes someone.
