The Heat Go Down in Flames
92-79.
The pain in Mike Tirico's voice was palpable.

Don't laugh yet. The Mavs have got even bigger concerns. The Heat have a lot more excused to losing against the Bulls.
1) Didn't have homecourt
2) Didn't have a healthy Wade
3) Didn't have any time to gel because of injuries in the regular season
And the bottom line is they have the ring. The Mav will be known as the chokers if they lose the series. The Heat will just be known as an aging team who battled injuries the whole year.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with LUT on this one.

Well obviously as dirk would say. they won theirs, it doesn't make any difference what they did this year, house money.
But I don't give a crap, I'm still going to laugh at their sorry butts.

Schadenfreude is not a color that looks good on us right now. It would take six weeks or more before we could wear it well.

So we can't enjoy the Heat losing because we're not in control of our series, and we didn't win last year....whatever.
I for one relished the moment DWheelChair was officially out of the playoffs.

I don't understand what joy you guys get out of this when our future seems to be not-too-different.

Again, I don't see it.
Would it be better if we were doing well? Sure. But I can still enjoy the Heat losing, even as I enter into a summer-long depression over the Mavs.

Yeah.. considering the heat losing has nothing directly to do with us losing, I don't see why we can't be happy about it.

You're right. We got swept by the 5th seed.Congratulations on winning two games against the 8th seed. Maybe the Lil' General should have done one of his decisive coaching moves and had them switch hotels and room together. 67 meaningless wins!!! MVP! MVP! MVP! 'Toine asked me to tell Dirk that being clutch has nothing to do with grabbing his own throat. How does it feel to have your team owning two of the NBA's greatest yak jobs in consecutive years. Wait, I know priceless. HaHaHaHa!!!!

I think Dwyane has room on his fishing boat for a 7-foot German, too.
