Post Mavericks and Sacramento Hypothetical Proposal

What about:

Howard, Bass and Diop

for

Brad Miller and Francisco Garcia

Sac Gets two starters in BASS and Howard and can move Hawes into a starting position with Diop coming off the bench or vice versa.

Garcia is a 6-7 shooting guard that might be a nice fit in the backcourt with Kidd. Miller gives the Mavs some low post scoring.

Miller doesn't play defense anymore - and never was great at it when he tried. Damp would end up getting more minutes than him.

Francisco Garcia isn't as good as Howard.

I don't see it, unless you believe in the addition by subtraction theory.

Even if you believe in addition by subtraction, you can get more than that for Howard/Bass/Diop...

I don't see a whole lot of difference between what Miller could give us and what Bass already gives us (assuming Damp gets a majority of minutes at the 5), so what would we be giving up Howard for?

Nope - I don't want any deal for Brad Miller...

I wouldn't mind a deal for Miller, but packaged around Stack and to include Sacs 1st round pick. Stack, Diop, and Bass for BMiller, FGarcia, and 1st -- I'd think about.

Then use JHo somewhere else.

But Miller, FGarcia for JHo straight up isn't worth it, IMO. JHo should get more than that.

No thanks we get very little in return. Maybe toss in their #1 pick with top 3 protection....I'd think about it, but no way. You're looking at George, Garcia at your wing spots, toss in Terry move Garcia to the 3, not all that great. I can't see Miller taking minutes away from Damp.
