Houston is reportedly going to release Eddie Griffin
I dont know if you guys know nething about him but he is a FREAK. Hes a hybrid similar to Garnett. He can guard 2-5. He gets off the floor with amazing quickness and can really block shots. i know he has had some problems lately but why not take the risk. He has a trial upcoming and could get convicted but i doubt he gets jail time. I think we should sign him to a 1 year deal with a club option for a 2nd and 3rd. I know hes another 3-4 guys but hes 6-10 and is amazingly athletic. I say we got after him before we give up jamison for wallace or cato.

The mavs already have too many "versatile fowards" and he's not even as good as any of the ones we have. Secondly, maybe I haven't seen him play enough but he looked nothing like Garnett. He is cut out of the same mold but he lacks the quickness and and explosiveness and his shot release is way too slow. So in conclusion, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO.

Don Nelson said an emphatic "No!" on the Full Nelson show. He said that if they take a guy with history, he will be much better than Griffin.

Hell no,
I live in houston and see plenty of his playing. He 's no where close to KG. This guy camp out in the 3 point line. He have no inside game. He can't post up. Where is the versitility? |

the buy beats up women, smokes pot and is a cancer on the team. He didnt show up to camp for weeks and he didnt give a damn about the Rockets. Let him play on a prison league.
