Motorists dig out survivors after avalanche

A wall of snow swept across one of Colorado's main recreation routes Saturday, sweeping cars down a mountainside. Officials said at least six people were rescued. A witness said about two dozen motorists used shovels, ski poles and their hands to try to rescue people who were buried.
