Happy Easter to all!!!

This is not intended to be offensive, simply myself offering up the best of me on this Easter Sunday. Yes, I extend a Happy Easter to all, even if your celebration is a Spring Holiday or some other faith.

This is the faith that I celebrate and with it, this is the biggest of all celebrations...Thus I extend this greeting with the greatest of love to all of you...the choice to accept or not is yours, the choice to offer or withhold the greeting is mine...and thus out of love, I offer you all a Happy Easter!!!

Ishtar, a Babylonian goddess is the same as Astarte (or Astaroth) of the Canaanites, Phoenicians, Dagon, and Philistines. Her son, Tammuz was killed by a wild boar, which is why it is customary to eat pork today. Astarte answered to Baal, the principle God of the Babylonians. She was symbolized by the eight-pointed star.











Interestingly enough:

The Babylonians worshiped the Sun. The eight-ponted star represents the "crossification" of the sun during its procession through the sky.
