On ESPNEWS Chris Ford said that the Sonics and Mavs are interested in acquiring Kurt Thomas, don't know how reliable Chris Ford is but hearing it from other sources gives it a little more merit.

The Mavs are being linked to every team in the league right now because of Cubans money. All of the local "experts" are trying to manufacture copy to sell to their readers. There are a TON of Mavs rumors today.

i'm sure some of it is true...now, it may be impossible to weed between the crap and the truth... nellie won't tell us anything ..it'll happen when when we least expect it...the mavs will land help for their interior defense

I suspect there are a lot of "If _____ happens, we will call you" talks going on. Most of the "If's" involving players dropping or a team's draft board going to hell. The talks, while fruitful are speculative in nature and will probably not amount to anything when all is said and done.

obviously..most things that are talked about between GM's doesn't result in a move... there's always "If's"...and we'll never know about 1/10th of them
