I posted this in another thread, but I just saw Pavel in Best Buy picking up a PS2.
He doesn't look like a freak ala George Meaurson. Looks like a normal guy who happens to be 7'3.

The PS2 Purchase obviously comes after the Pav heard he would be riding the pine for the entire year and wanted something to do in the locker room.

With all the centers we have, he may be riding the pine for a while. Barring a trade, he can't be thrilled about his prospects to play here over the next couple of years.

M'Benga looked a lot better during Summer League... so he better start getting much better in order to have any career in this league.

I actually have a lot of faith in Pavel. He hasn't done anything to indicate that he will not be a good player. Given time and good coaching, he may become a very good player. He has the size, and he also has good shooting touch. We should definitely not write him off just yet. I'm thrilled about MBenga, but let's face it, he's not a super star yet so we can't count on him 100% to be the future.
