We have a play in the playbook for Danny Fortson?

that would have been a great move by Nash if he didn't travel.

I didn't know he was allowed to shoot past 2 feet.
I'm watching Howard tonight to see who he guards and how well he does. Here's to a stupendous game.

RE:'Walker returns to Boston' Mavs/Celts GAMEDAY Thread
EVERYONE of you who say's dirk doesn't demand the ball damn well better have just seen that play. Dirk was posting up Welsch and BEGGING for the ball and Nash just looked at him and ignored him. That is Nash's fault and if nellie were any kind of a coach would be in nash's ear about it! Even Danny was pointing at Dirk!@

Does it look like the Mavs are playing at half speed?

the mavs are so much better when they make an effort to get dirk involved early. you'd think the mavs would make a concerted effort to do it more. he is the best player on the team. it's really not that difficult

If the Celts don't slow the ball down, they're going to get run out of their gym again.

It should be against team rules for anyone to pass to Fortson at all. Bad things happen when he's touching the ball if it isn't coming from a rebound.

3 o-boards for the mavs and 2 team rebounds that came on the offensive side....good start

Josh with another nice start. A steal from PP and he's running the floor and finishing.

Walker's looked good in a Mavs uniform, but they'd look so much better if they looked to get dirk more involved offensively

Is it a coincidence that Dirk starts at power forward and he starts out the game strong?

Someone explain why when Dirk's on fire here, instead of feeding him, we pull him? Thanks Nellie for further showing why your a joke, you dont rest someone this early when red hot, I guarantee he'll end the half with less then 18 points.

it would be nice if Antoine would finish off a 3 point play with a made free throw, but I can handle him just getting to the line for now.

Dirk has started at power forward for the majority of thier games. Haven't seen a compelling arguement that playing "center affects his game.

this epitomizes what i dislike about the mavs this year. Dirk is on fire, he can only get 5 shots and 9 minutes, walker is cold and gets 12 and 7.

Did you see ESPN flash Josh Howard's name on Daniels? That's funny.

needless to say, if many other players on the team were as hot as dirk was in the first quarter, they'd definitely have more attempts by now

Poor Najera. He's not playing well. Isn't his knee bothering him? If he's still injured, why is he insisting to play.

I have had enough of that joke najera. And god forbid we at least run one play for dirk before the shot machine gets back in.
