Sacramento @ Dallas Game 3 Playoff Thread
The series moves to the friendly confines of AAC, with our Boys down two games to none. That will change tonight.
Mavs 114
Kings 93
Bring it Sac... and good luck with all that.

Mavs lose a heartbreaker. Even at home. The Mavs will jump out and look great but with Nellie's tinkering the Kings will have mometum when it matters and will win by a couple of points in the closing moments.

RE:Sacramento @ Dallas Game 3 Playoff Thread
If Bibby would be playing, Mavs lose this in a thriller. Remember, he was the one who hit those two 3's and the off-balance layup to tie the game. Good clutch shooter. But Bibby is out, so I predict a little change of momentum and Dallas wins by a narrow margin, 98-101.

RE:Sacramento @ Dallas Game 3 Playoff Thread
Bibby isn't out for sure. He suffered the injury late in practice and before the teams flight to Dallas. The team won't comment on it other than to say he'll be reevaluated tomorrow and be a game time decision.
I can't imagine he won't give it a go, unless it's more serious than first reports and they don't want it leaking yet.
Mavs are going to win. Just because Finley is going to lay another egg, it doesn't mean others are not going to step it up another notch.
Mavs by a dozen.

Someone on a Kings Message board posted that Bibby said he was going to play. But the person that posted this didn't say where they heard this. Could just be lies...

No, please no. I'm afraid that they'll overate the home court power but still wouldn't like to predict a home loss. That Dallas is a good home team and bad road team means they often win at home and often lose/even can't win on the road, but doesn't mean they can always win at home. But, It sounds like they'll win tonight without a doubt. Yeah, they must, have to win but not that sure.

RE: Sacramento @ Dallas Game 3 Playoff Thread
But here's the number 1 question:
If the Mavs are down by two points/tied/up by two points in the closing moments in the game... do you think Nellie would get Dirk the ball?
I don't think he will. Not because Dirk doesn't want but because Nellie still hasn't admitted he made a mistake. He still believes that what he ran for Finley was a good play. And therein lies the problem. He will still run that same play most of the time ignoring his best player. And that just won't get it done in the playoffs.

I hope he isn't that selfish. I think he's heard it enough this week. I think he would run the play for Dirk to prove a point, and then I'll be laughing/cheering when Dirk proves him wrong.
In the event that a scenario like that is setup, no matter who gets the shot, the fact that we are at home gives us a better chance. Just ask Brad Miller.

I think the Mavs will win big tonight as well. The will come out like gangbusters at home.
If I wasn't in New York, I would be at the game with a banner stating "Get Dirk the F****ing ball!"
That should be the motto for the 05 Mavs.
I love it.

U2 starts this Mo-fo and KG will be there ensuring our victory. No one better step in front of the Dallas-at-home train.

To all the Mavs fans and the no Mavs fans out there...this is our time, time to show the queens, spurs, lakers, etc etc.. that this team has what it takes to become a Champion......specially tonight, even down 2-0, the Mavs will emerge as winners....today..victory should be ours.......today..the enemy will have to knee down before our team, today The Holly Saints of Basketball will be helping the Mavs...because God who is in Heaven, he likes the Mavs.......(well, maybe He dislike AW a little) so he is sending his full army of angel to prevent crywebb and the quennies to take this game from the Mavs.............Long Live the Mavs.........Long Live The Big 3............Long Live Eddie (taking on cryweeb again and humilliating him)
Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavs

Kings vs Dallas, Game Two
X-jera…
Call Eduardo Najera the X-factor for the Mavericks.
He pushed, pulled and generally used every trick in the book to try and slow Chris Webber, including wrestling him down at one point. It was a tactic that frustrated Kings Head Coach Rick Adelman.
The bad news for the Kings and Webber is that Tuesday could be an indicator of what’s to come , because with Antawn Jamison now nursing sore hamstrings, Don Nelson may have to call on Najera much more.
Get the ice packs ready.
With this comment comming from the Kings insider, I have no doubt they fear the Mavs and that they prepared their mind to loose this series already...
Mavs-159
kings 10
they got so frustraded, the ref. call 2 tecs. on every kings players and trow them out of the game

Much better starts for Finley and Nash. Can they keep it up?
Just because he's injured, you still have to cover Bibby.
