Default Extreme Mavs Makeover

Wanted to see what everyone thought of this deal.

Dallas Trades:
Van Horn (15.6M)
Dampier (7.8M)
Daniels (5.4M)
Rights to Bradley (4.5M)
Mbenga (1.8M)
Wahad (7M)

Memphis Trades:
Wright (7.7M)
Williams (7.6M)
Miller (6.7M)

Memphis receives:
Dampier
Daniels
Bradley
$3M

Memphis does this to get the big man they coveted last summer, get out from Jason Williams contract and get value for Lorenzen Wright. Bradley's contract is covered by insurance and his cap value falls off after this season.

Dallas does this deal to get a nice backup big man in Wright, a true PG albeit a head case in Williams, and critical outside shooting that they need in Miller.

New Orleans Trades:
Re-signed Magloire (8.5M starting salary @ 6 years with incremental raises)
Brown (8.0M)

New Orleans receives:
Van Horn
Mbenga or $2M

New Orleans does this b/c Shinn is a cheap skate and they get out from under Brown's contract. Magloire isn't going to re-sign there anyways. New Orleans gets their pick of a young prospect in Mbenga or $2M. Van Horn is a rent-a-player so that they can meet the minimum salary requirements.

New York trades:
Malik Rose or Jerome Williams (6M)
$1M

New York receives:
Wahad

The Knicks do this because Isiah is an idiot. They clear some salary cap room and write off Wahad's partially guaranteed contract to insurance. Dallas does this to get another energy backup 4 who will buy into Avery's system.

Your rotation looks something like this:

Terry/Harris/Williams
Miller/Finley/
Howard/Stackhouse/
Nowitzki/Brown/Rose
Magloire/Wright/Pavel
