It is a shame that Dirk will not be in the Finals tommorow, but give the Argentinan's credit. They were down by 5 with little time left on the clock, and they came back, and won. It just goes to show that one person can't do it by themselves. It also goes to show why Germany is very bent on having Dirk on their team. He gives them credibility, and makes them extreamly competitive. Even one person can take you to the big game, but it makes it very difficult for you to finish.

Now maybe we can all get back to what is important. Winning the NBA Championship. Thank goodness that no one got hurt in all of this. If anything it helps Finley, Dirk, Raef get ready to start the season Early. The only problem I have is that we didn't here a lot about Raef, or what he contributed or if he didn't.......I don't know if that means anything, or not, but we will see when camp starts. Less than a month, and Media day, and the beginning of training camp, and the beginning of another great season.

P.S. Agassi and Samprass Tommorrow. Gotta love it...........

Uhm, actually your conclusion from Dirk´s line is pretty wrong tonight. It was Okulaja who held the Germans in the game in the 1st, and Demirel helped building the lead. "All by himself" is no fit for today ... especially since Dirk missed all his go-ahead 3pters late ...

Word I got from someone who watched training camp is that Raef really didn't put out a lot of effort and basically was in the doghouse from the get go..And obviously stayed in it.
