Utah always seems to out rebound Dallas and score efficiently.

I hate the matchup and would much rather face Memphis especially if the Jazz get HCA.

Also the Mavs in that 3rd qtr had some terrible shot selections

The problem is sometimes he jacks up those bad 3's and then if he doesn't get a call he'll complain and not even bother to get back on defense.

That shit will get you beat in the playoffs when you spend so much energy complaining while the other team is going back the other way to score.

I wish Kidd would put the ball in Brunson hands a little in late in games and play Luka off the ball or post him up a bit more.

I know Luka wants to take Gobert off the ball but they need a better plan. If Gobert is iso on Luka then you give your other guys the ball some and make them scramble. If Gobert drops back to cover the basket then Luka or someone is open. If Gobert sticks to Luka outside then the other guys take it to the hoop. Iso ball won't win games like that.

Working for the switch to get Gobert on Brunson instead of Luka would have been better. JB is quicker.

I don't think DFS even took shot late in the game

Kleber on the other hand passed up open shots looking scared

But having said that Luka was the culprit down the stretch. he took things personal vs Gobert. Didn't bother to move the ball on a few possessions and then if he didn't get a call, he would spend more time complaining than hustling back on defense.

By now he should realize when you play in Utah especially late in games your not going to get many calls. You need to fight through it and keep battling.

That's why I think Brunson needs more time running the offense in those situations because Luka tends to lose his head and spend the entire crunch time arguing with the refs.

But when push comes to shove, Kleber and DFS are going to let you down when you need them to carry weight. I hope I'm wrong, but Jazz are a likely first round matchup.

At least Bertans and Dinwiddie looked sharp. Feel like they know they have a lot to prove.
