Merlin Olsen dies at the age of 69

For those of you that don't know, Olsen was a member of the Fearsome Foursome.. He also played the part of Jonathan Garvey on Little House on the Prairie.

It truly was an extremely sad moment when I found about his passing. I've seen alot of video of his playing days back with the Rams.. his talent could definitely translate to today's NFL. As for him in LHotP, let's just say that him and Charles Ingalls were the two TV fathers that I most admired growing up. Olsen not only played the role of a great man, from everything I have heard he also lived that life as a human being. He will be missed. This is truly a sad day for me.
