1-10 shooting for 7 points
10 boards
3 steals
2 blocks
-10 plus/minus

I think I also read that he did not set a pick on the last play because he was too busy running his mouth in the huddle.

Or didn't hear the play because he was beating his chest in the huddle.

Why does the national media keep saying Dirk is having a monster post season?....I mean he is, but have they not watched the last 10 years?
Somebody else asked this but I also wanna know.....last nights OKC/MEM game went into 3 OT's....however, every shot taken from the 4th Q on was considered a "big shot" ...I think big shots are made FG's under the 2 minute mark in the each quarter, or any FG made under 3 seconds on the shot clock.
Another thing...I think matchups are overrated...the Mavs would appear to be a bad matchup with the Lakers....however they were swept by the mavs...as long as adjustments can be made

You are right, the media doesn't really pay attention to his play - they've only now noticed because his team put a beatdown on the Lakers.
And I thought we matched up well with the Lakers. Specifically, we had 3 bigs to slow down Gasol and Bynum. No other team in the West did.

Wouldn't it be great if by some miracle the Hawks made it to the finals?

It would, but I rooted for the Bulls anyway. Too risky to expect the Hawks to beat the Heat, too. We need the ECF to be a Bulls-Heat brawl. Seven games preferable.

I'd love that, but I'm starting to get a "pretender" vibe from the Bulls - it could easily go 5 or 6 if the Heat are clicking...

Sure, but things change fast. If the Bulls can win two home games to start the series, all of the sudden the Heat won't be looking so hot.
We sure live in the moment, us sports fans.

I think the Bulls are being crushed under the pressure of carrying the number one seed in the playoffs. Ironically that pressure would be removed in a match up with the Heat. Especially if they finish off Boston in 5. I'm guessing that despite being the higher seed the Bull would be underdogs in that series.
Seems like a distant memory now but the Magic looked unbeatable at this point last year. Then they ran into a team that presented match up problems. Wouldn't surprise me to see the same thing happen with the Heat.

One thing working in Chicago's favor is you now can no longer breath on DRose w/out the refs calling a foul. He's the new Diva. Only much more likeable. Never really complains to the refs.
Watching the series Ive found myself thinking "Jeff Teague is really great!" at times only to amend that to... "Jeff Teague is pretty good, and Rose's defense is pretty suspect" upon closer observation.

Last game was there for the taking for the Celtics and no one could make a basket down the stretch. If they can pull this one out the pressure is back on the Heat.

Boston is just collapsing down the stretch here. Garnett almost tipped it into the wrong basket, and I feel like have their passes have resulted in turnovers.

All of that celebration, it was beginning to look like another one of their July parades.

10-4 Grizzlies seven minutes into the game.
This is shaping up to be an ugly one.

After watching the latter part of that game, I want Miami. Bring 'em on.

What's up with the Durante backpack look? I haven't seen that one before.

In all honesty, Miami doesn't scare me after watching the last two games. It's been LeBron, Wade, a bit of Bosh, and nothing else. I'm not sure that three guys can win a championship on their own. Their role players would at least have to bring something to the table.

I think everyone is wrong about the Heat not having a great supporting cast for their big 3. They have the best supporting cast anyone could possibly ask for. Bennet Salvatore, Steve Javie, Danny Crawford etc... Those guys are phenomenal role players for the Heat.

...even the refs shouldn't have been able to save them in Game 4 in Boston. The Celtics just weren't any good either and their biggest matchup advantages were either gone (Perkins) or injured (Rondo).

I wanted to post this, and I think this is the most appropriate place to do it.
Yahoo!Sports "analysts" are 10 for 50 in picking the outcome of a series so far. 20%. If they were in the NBA, they'd be told to stop shooting.
