Default Allen and James players of the week

No offense, but Allen will never be the player Dirk is. I thought Dirk was a lock, but please. Seattle isn't gonna be there in the end. Maybe I'm just a bitter mavs fan, but Dirk had to prove something this year. Dirk, so far, has proved he is the player everyone wants and needs him to be. He overcame his lull from last year so far in his 8 games. It is deserving of player of the week.

Oh, and James rocks, duh

I don't have a problem with it. Dirk's numbers are better, but Seattle, a team that was supposed to finish around last in the conference went undefeated including win over Sac and S.A. Sure, they were home wins, but that's still pretty impressive.

Plus, it's only player of the week. I'm sure Dirk didn't give it a 2nd thought.

Ray Allen is underrated on this board.

You are right, Dirk had a tremendous week, but its the 8th through the 14th, so the Mavs lost a game and the Sonics went undefeated during that time span. I'm just glad i have both on my fantasy team, i went to #1 this week oh yeah.

Dallas-Mavs.com Player of the Week:

West: Dirk Nowtizki

East: Awvee Storey

Nowtizki had a monster week and was the unaimous choice at d-m.com

Storey (Nets) had a good week as well playing in his first NBA minute however storey failed to do anything
