Nice win. Kidd got a lot of rest and played only 31 minutes. Dirk with 37 minutes is fine, too.

honestly no matter if it's garbage or pressure or whatever time, roddy finds a way to make himself useful. really don't kno how much more he gotta prove, but i know many of you share my thoughts on this one.
anyway, from what i saw, which was most of the second half, i basically had my fist in the air and pumped for the entire third qtr and the Dirk Show (he is jus....well, i can't say anything. no more words to describe this man in the English language. anyone know German?), Kidd with the 3-2 (my very corny shorthand for triple double), butler shooting VERY well, along with a great selection of shots, and JET being JET.
GREAT GREAT win right when we need it, while nugs lose too. this is gonna be a great second season ladies and gentlemen, and i am PSYCHED for it. i missed givin +rep for the last W, so here's some for tonight...goodnight and see you on monday!!
p.s. i forgot who it was that asked during a GDT whether we had the most back-to-backs in this league, and i def have not looked it up but DAMN i don't think there's anyone else close. its insane!!
GO MAVS!!!

He can be the first rookie ever who shoots 50 % from the floor, 40 % from long range, and 80 % from the free throw line. He's currently 51.4/41.5/80.4 Do it Roddy!

Well, he should do it, seeing how Carlisle isn't going to play him for the rest of the season.

Good win. I'm starting to think we should just stick to the starting lineup we have used recently, and bring Marion off the bench during the playoffs. I know its a huge gamble but I just think we're better off since Stevenson is a natural 2 guard, and Butler is a natural 3. How do you guys feel about this? I'm just concerned because I don't think we'll get the best out of Butler if he's playing out of position, and with the playoffs right around the corner we really need the best we can get from him.

It's a tough call...You almost have to factor in the wounded animal theory here...that not having shawn has energized (the dirkster for sure) and focused everyone defensively. However not having shawn may also have forced the rest of the team to step up defensively with him out. It's hard for me to know..
It woulde appear that caron likes the small forward position but marion seemingly could easily play the sg position offensively while playing the sf defensively.

Wow, I don't know what to think anymore. It could be a variety of reasons that have led to our guys playing well, including the "Wounded animal theory" you've brought up. We just can't be sure. I wish we had more time to test different lineups, but we only have two games left so that's pretty much not an option at this point. Do you really think Marion could play the 2 on offense though? He's only a decent shooter these days, and his ball handling is only average. But you never know, with a versatile player like Matrix anything can happen. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out.
