Default To all the Democrats on the forum...

I hope you're ok today... I know it was a rough night.

Eh, it happens. Pendulum swings. Hopefully the veto and the filibuster and executive orders pull us through until the 2016 takeback.

Wait, you mean another two years of the government not actually helping people or the country move forward? Then everyone will vote for democrats and more of the same...

Default I get all my news from ESPN

Give the Hollywood-ers a break, no one expected anything different with that albatross around the whole organization's neck. It's a miracle things were as close as they were last night...

I mean, Kobe eats up 30% of their salary and the next 30% goes to the PG duo of Jeremy Lin and Steve Nash's chiropractor. 2016 cannot get here fast enough for the Lakers.

What filibuster? Harry Reid got rid of that one.

That's OK we'll dominate you in the general:

- The Senate map is very favorable for Dems in 2016

- about 35%-40% of voters vote in midterms, while closer to 60% vote in general elections.

"Complicating the task is Republican senators' continuing rage over Democrats' unilateral weakening of filibuster rules a year ago, ending the GOP's ability to block Obama's nominees. Ever since, Republicans have required Democrats to use the maximum time Senate rules require for most nominations, ranging from two hours for federal district court judges to 30 hours for Cabinet-level appointees.

"Republicans won't bend over backward to make things easy for Democratic nominees," said Curt Levey, president of the conservative Committee for Justice.

Last November, Democrats used their majority muscle to reshape filibuster rules by requiring a simple majority - not 60 votes - to end the delays against most nominations. The 60-vote requirement remained in place for Supreme Court justices and for legislation.

Just so we are clear since Obama still is the President and only the President nominates judges, the filibuster rule changes are not going to bite Dems in the ass, at least not for this Congress.

I said the filibuster had been abolished by Reid to pack the appeals court. You said "This is not true. Procedural changes were made to speed things up, but its still there."

Then you change the subject instead of acknowledging your wrongness. Typical liberal debating policy.

You only said that AFTER I called you out on it. this was the comment I was referring to.

"What filibuster? Harry Reid got rid of that one."

You said something stupid then you tried to cover up your tracks after the fact.
