I'm wondering where is Lebron? Didn't he say he will do it this year?

Yep, he did say that. Thing is, he's best at improvising, so practice, its not even necessary, just show up, do a few dunks and move on....otherwise shut your mouth Lebron. Thanks for nothing.

It's just a dunk contest, but this is a pretty big hit on LeBron. He built up a lot of anticipation after his announcement last year. He comes up looking bad here.

Neither of the 2 are on the list, unless they make a surprise appearance. lol.

You know he's lying because he even said "I'll be at the dunk contest next year at Cowboys Stadium"... Dunk contest will be at the American Airlines Center.
but everybody still bought it.

I just don't understand his decision NOT to participate. I guess he just assumes he has everything to lose and nothing to gain. Frustrating though. Jordan did it - don't you want to be like Mike LeBron?

I'd imagine Nate or Shannon will win, just because of their hype. That's what it always comes down to...

DeRozan is a freak athletically. He's my pick.

What could LeBron realistically do that would please everybody @ the dunk contest. I mean, the guy is a beast, but what type of staged dunk could he do that wouldn't be redundant?
There is none.
Face it, nobody is going to jump over the backboard.
The best dunks happen in the games.

LeBron was still thinking about it and the when Smith said if LeBron did it he would also go back to challange LeBron, Lebron got scared
But that sure would have been a good dunk contest and I would have been rooting for Smith

Yea I don't think Lebron could win it. He strikes me as a power dunker as opposed to Jordan who had unbelievable hang time. He looks better dunking on people.

Exactly...I dont think LeBron would be creative enuff. I would have loved to watch Smith destroy him or anyone else

Creative dunking died with the advent of mascots jumping off trampolines.
