Hilario withdraws from Worlds with groin injury
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Associated Press DENVER -- Denver Nuggets forward Maybyner Hilario suffered a groin injury and will not be able to play for his native Brazil in the World Championships, the team said Tuesday. Hilario will miss about four weeks of basketball activity due to a strained left adductor muscle that he injured last week. The World Championships will be held in Indianapolis Aug. 29 to Sept. 8. Hilario is expected to attend training camp Oct. 1. |
