Garnett to Pistons for Ben and Rasheed wallace?
On some other sites there is big speculation that the Mavs have got Gary Payton for Marquis and Bradely's player contract . It's a rumor, but what if it were true? what do ya'll think about it?

Unless it's part of a deal for Pierce, no way in hell would I give up Marquis for GP.

I think it's just a crazy rumor. I can only see Payton coming here if Terry was a part of a Pierce package instead of Devin.
Edited to add that if we were interested in Payton as a FA we wouldn't need to do a S&T to get him. Including Payton as a part of a larger deal for Pierce (instead of taking on Raef and Blount) does make some sense though. I would rather have Raef/Payton than say Rafe/Blount. |
