Question sacramento-dallas trade scenario

what if dallas trades

C-erick dampier and G-greg buckner to the kings for a trade after signing BONZI WELLS

a line up diop, dirk, josh, bonzi and terry??? what do you think??? solid backcourt, wells can defend both perimeter and post......and a very good rebounder for a guard

for sacramento

a line up started with dampier, miller, thomas, artest and bibby

tall line up and more defense..

we can trust miller with his mid range shots so we can put him at PF.... so we can move kenny to SF coz his only about
6'7". athletic and also have some outside shots then artest and bibby at the backcourt... they are both good defender...

I think it's goona work if these both teams try this new line up.....

Why does everyone want to trade Damp? If we do that we have no depth at center. I'd do it, but I donno if the Kings would, because I doubt they'd put Miller at PF.

Bonzi has seemingly let it be known that he'd tuck his tail and go back to the kings, but King's won't do it for salary-cap reasons. WHy would they take on Dampier instead?

The Maloofs have made it clear they are gonna go the cheap-bastard route for now.

Damp + Buck = almost 12 million in salary. No way do I pay Bonzi that kind of money. I also don't think you can trade Damp unless you get a better than average C/PF in return.

Wouldnt trade Damp for Bonzi. Period! Must be something that would be of interest.

I'd love Bonzi, but we'd be short on centers (I don't think DJ or Diop are ready to play that many minutes, plus we'd lose the diversity in their styles of play versus Dampier's)... We would have to get a decent 5 out of any deal that cuts Damp & his 5000-pound gorilla of a contract...

Damp just needs to learn how to play offense, then we can stop these silly trade scenarios. It can't be that hard for him, being around seven feet tall and standing under the basket all day.

Bonzi had a great season last year...in his contract year. I don't think he'd be a good fit n Dallas. And Diop and Mbenga splitting minutes at center would be horrible.

There is also the bad intangibles that bonzi brings. Although I didnt hear about it in Sacramento, he has always had a bad reputation, being a cancer to the team such as when he was with the Jailblazers.

Don't mess up a good chemistry.

If Dampier could learn to just catch the ball when handed off to him that is an extra 4 points a game.
