Default Dallas-NewJersey-LA three way deal

Dallas trades Walker and cash considerations to NJ for Kmart

Dallas trades Kmart and change to LA for Shaq

LA is happy because they get their big man to play alongside Kobe...Dallas is happy because they get their big man to play alongside Dirk...New Jersey gets a lot in return for a player that could leave them high and dry with nothing to compensate

not too sure how that works out

works out better than walker to la but im just not sure if we have enough pieces along with kmart

Kmart, JHo, L8, PPod, Najera might get it done but i dunno if i wanna loose 2 of our young players

that ain't bad. simple and good for the Mavs. so, we basically trade Walker for Shaq?

JHo would definitely not be included in this deal. The only reason he was included in the proposed Walker deal is because Walker's value is considerably lower than Kmarts and thus Jho would have to be included in order to persuade the lakers to pull the trigger on that one. However, with Kmart now in the picture im sure LA would be more than happy to take on a Kmart-Laettner-Stackhouse deal for Shaq. That is by far the best offer on the table for them and this would allow us to have our beloved Dirk-Shaq combo while keeping our youth intact for the future. Everyone wins.

Well even though they are in an emergency type of situation it may take a bit more to pry Kmart away from New Jersey...possibly a deal involving Walker and Bradley or Najera along with cash considerations should do the trick; but in essence, yes..we would basically be trading Walker (along with Leattner and Stackhouse) for Shaq.

Walker and cash, wont work for KMart.

Kmart and CHANGE? Hmmmmm like $14M in change, maybe? Good grief, you left out at least half of your proposal.

Nice general theory, but it doesnt fit the rules in any way, and only Dallas really gets a decent deal.
