Karl Rove to leave White House

Karl Rove, President Bush's close friend and chief political strategist, announced Monday he will leave the White House at the end of August, joining a lengthening line of senior officials heading for the exits in the final 1 1/2 years of the administration. |

News but not unexpected. Pretty typical of folks to leave at this time. Gives' 'em time to take off and begin to line up civilian work.

I just hope he get's on with Freddy Thompson and is his campaign manager as Fox says it is a 9-1 chance he is. I hope he is.
