Default RE:Dallas at Memphis Gameday Thread

I can't believe some of you guys are saying Dirk took too many shots???

He is THE LEADER on this team and I would rather have him taking 27 shots than somebody else. All the other shooters on the team are pretty inconsistent and god knows maybe other shooters have lower % than Dirk's! EX: Stackson? lol (he did have a pretty good game)

Michael Jordan, AI, Kobe and T-MAC all have that kind of off-night shooting but they can still score 20+ points per game and carry their teams to win because they know how to draw fouls. That's the difference between an All-Star player and a very inaccurate/average shooter. Yes, Dirk could have shot better but he had much a better defensive game and maybe he chose to spend more energy on the defensive end? That could be why his shots were a little bit off on the offensive end.

Anyway, Mavs won and IT'S ALL GOOD. Dirk will get back to his shooting rhythem.
