FF41's definition of an "easy win" is different than everyone else's. An "easy" win doesn't come at the buzzer.

The way we played against the Cavs and the Kings makes me a bit nervous about the B2B tomorrow in Denver ...

Some of you guys showing your "I've never played basketball" card tonight. Dirk's wrist is clearly bad, and that ruins a lot of what you can do on the court.

I think that would be impossible while going to public schools.
Wait, do you think anyone cares that you played some high school basketball? Like that gives you any cred at all. You sound like CreditXpert.

Of course Dirk's wrist is bothering him. But he still needs to show effort. And it hasn't been there tonight.

Or he just had a bad game. Maybe the wrist was bothering him, maybe it wasn't. Who knows (except you, of course).
And speaking of cards nobody should ever play, the "You haven't played basketball and I have" card is near the top of the list.

I played more than HS basketball, but that's irrelevant. Anyone that has even played the game at any level knows how important the wrist is. You can't shoot with a banged up wrist. It completely ruins your follow through. The shot is all in the wrist. Not the hands or the arms. It also makes you a bit more timid. It's difficult to do certain things aggressively when you have such limited movement with your strong hand, such as grabbing a board at an awkward angle or doling out a tough foul. I'm not saying Dirk didn't play a shitty game, I'm just saying that the wrist is a big reason why. As I mentioned, Dirk didn't even slam the ball after a Sac made FT, a ritual he ALWAYS does. That tells you a lot.

Nope, he has a bad wrist. He is allowed to give a horrible effort on defense, rebounding, hustle, blow layups and everything else. and CadBane loves to show off JJB's bad +/- so lets check out Dirk's -6. (second worse on the team)
Okay Cad. If he's that injured where it's making him play like sh*t (which he did, whatever the reason) then he needs to not play for awhile.

Pfft... you nut up and start draining shots with your other hand.

Sorry, but it's NOT a "maybe it was or wasn't" situation. There is absolutely no question it was. I don't need Brendan Haywood to tell me if he's good at FTs or not, I can simply watch the game.
1. He was wearing a protective device.
2. He was tentative on his jumpshots.
3. He was moving it around after several plays.
4. He didn't slam the ball after an opponent made FT, which he always does.
It's really not a question.
Hmm...lets add all the above to the fact that he hurts his wrist two days ago and then shoots terribly? Christ, you don't have to be Sherlock F'ing Holmes here.

He clearly hurt the team tonight.... unless you think JJB really needed his high fives. If he's that limited (you say the injury is causing all of his deficiencies) then he needs to rest and not play for awhile.

Well that sure isn't a very strong analogy. Yikes.
Your list misses the point. It's not an issue of whether the wrist is physically tender at all. Yeah, he hurt it two days ago, so it's probably not feeling perfectly. The real issue is whether it's hurting to a point that it's materially affecting his play. Pro athletes play through all sorts of injuries all the time without a dip in their production. Dirk has done it time and time again.
So, maybe it bothered him enough to affect his performance, or maybe he just had a bad performance. I'd bet it made him more hesitant out there, but Dirk has very tentative off games sometimes even when healthy, so I'm not gonna say that conclusively.
But I do love that you're willing to do so.

This is, like I mentioned, where knowledge of playing the game comes in. Guys can successfully play through ankle injuries, which Dirk has done in the past. But the wrist is a bigger deal because it hinders almost everything you do on the court, including the biggest thing he does, which is shoot. Your shot is severely affected with an injured wrist. Period. I've had both injuries and I'd take an injured ankle over the wrist 11 times out of 10. Wrist, Knee, and Back are the three worst things to hurt from a "I can still play, but it hinders my game" perspective.
I don't see how you can't see that the wrist clearly affected his game negatively. It's not a case of just an "off game".

honestly, that is one of the most special things about the diggler, a seven footer that makes his living on mobility, and has somehow magically managed to remain largely injury free. that is rare indeed. there are far more Yaos than Dirks in this regard.

His peak was 24.2 ppg, but close enough. Either way, that's still higher than I expected. I would have guessed closer to 20.

Guys play through all sorts of injuries. Plenty of guys have played through mildly injured wrists over the years. You can continue to conclusively state that it's "not just the case of an off game," but obviously you don't know. You are drawing inferences, which may or may not be well-informed. But to act like you know for certain one way or another is just hubris.
And for the love of god, man, knock it off with "knowledge of the game" card. It makes you sound absolutely desperate to give yourself credibility, which of course ends up ironically having the opposite effect.
