Meet my little girl
This is Andrea. She is 7.5 lbs and she loves the Mavericks!
She was born yesterday at about 5:30pm but we're still in the hospital tonight. Mom and baby are just fine.
She's going to watch the Stars and Mavs games with her daddy-Flaco tonight, though I suspect she might sleep through it.

Congrats, Flaco. Cheers. Enjoy the ride.
Quote:
And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, "Speak to us of Children."
And he said:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

Contratulations Flaco, she is gorgeous! She probably will sleep through the game, but when it is over and you are ready for bed, she will wake up.

Your daughter is beautiful! Well done, my friend. I'm very happy for you guys.
Mine is 6.5 months old now. One day, all our babies will end up at basketball camp together (raef's little boy can watch-over the girls).
(BTW, be sure you look into the christening process well before the big date!)

Well, we're Catholic and we've actually had the baptism scheduled for a few months now. We went to a class in August. She's getting baptized Thanksgiving weekend so as to maximize family that will be in town.

Yeah. We got married in '07, house in '08, kid in '09. I don't know what we're going to do next year.
You buy a plane ticket and you can come over and watch a Mavs game.
I got her social security card in the mail yesterday. I guess if anyone wants to steal her identity, they can get right on that now.

Question for parents:
Can my baby start teething at 3 months? I know that's way early, but she's drooling excessively, chewing on her hand a lot, and she's really cranky (just like a woman )
Also, here are some pictures:
