Defensively, I'm not sure if he'll be strong enough to defend good
He gained like 15-20 lbs last season supposedly. I'm not even personally concerned about that part. We got him as basically a 3pt specialist and he hasn't hit a single one.

They all help the Mavs depth as bench players.

But I'm not sure about Powell even healthy I still think WCS is a better player.

This wouldn't happen but I'd take all of those players + Green and ship them to Chicago for Lavine because he's does everything that Brunson and THJ does by himself LOL

With the exceptions of Luka and JRich, the Mavs just play too soft and passively. And it's not a recent phenomenon. Maybe Tom Thibodeau could toughen them up!

I know this doesn't help because he waited too long but KP's 2nd half was much better and I think he shot only once from 3.

He finished 9/12 from shots inside the 3 point line.

It looks like they called more designed set plays to get him inside shots in that 2nd half.

Again, I completely understand the frustration with him jacking up 3's but I also feel like RC can actually help with this by starting him off games with designed play calls inside like he did that 2nd half.

This happened if I'm not mistaken the game before vs Milwaukee where they let him shoot 3's the entire 1st half and then in the 2nd half they ran inside plays for him.

I'm not sure why the coaching hasn't made these adjustments earlier in games.

It's unfortunate that Rick has to keep players from a bad default setting. But, that's what he gets paid to do. He just has to be better than the bad version of who he's trying to rely on.
