This time around I'd like to see Iwundu or Green on Lavine throughout the game with Rick also trying to trap or double him like they do Harden to get the ball out of his hands.

He lit up the Mavs for 39 points on 14/25 shooting, 6 rebounds, 5 assist and 4 steals.

THJ is no match for him and he struggled himself that game trying to stay in front of Colby White.

If KP comes in with one of his "rusty" games, we simply won't have the scoring to win.

We're down our 2nd (THJ), 4th (Richardson), 5th (brunson), 7th (Finney-Smith), and 8th (Kleber) best scorers today.

Those guys combine for 60.3points per game.

That's why defense matters more than anything. Of course, our best defenders are out as well, but it can at least give us a chance if Luka and KP step up in that dept.

What I've noticed is that the Mavs are really good when they attack the rim or use the mid range shots

The problem is they settle way too much for 3's

I think the team as a whole needs to buy into mixing up their shot selection more often.

It can start with KP and Luka being more like LeBron and AD just make it a point your going to get good shots and the 3-PT will come later.

I thought that lob to WCS was a clear foul but I guess the ref's didn't see the hit on the arm.
