Great contest at the rim and solid fight to finish the quarter.
Saw the defense turn up, and 3s were falling

I just mentioned them, because they were in your post, but like tgfan said, jrich has always had that reputation.

They finally put someone on the floor who could defend vs dribble penetration in Iwundu.
The Raptors were breaking them down off the dribble most of the half.

It makes me laugh every year when Harp calls them the Raptures. That would be a pretty bad ass name.

Hmm, the Raptors' bench has outscored their starters so far!

That's fine but there's 15 guys on the team and if we can only think of 3-4 guys then it sounds like he fits that same tag as the other 70% of the team

For what it’s worth, wcs is supposed to be a pretty smart dude, but I remember George Karl saying that Javale McGee was super intelligent off the court, but brain dead on the court.

Let’s see those young legs not get behind first half of the 3rd quarter. Make free throws and stop the layups and they can win this.

Well I guess it's up to the coaches to determine what players are smart enough to play and which players aren't
I don't see him making any more mistakes than half the team...
Could he play smarter sure but again what player on this team can you not say that about?
Someone called him a sieve on defense but I see him vs smaller players all the time on the perimeter doing a good job for a big guy moving his feet.
He played a lot in that half vs Siakam and dude didn't shoot that well
Box score shows WCS was +8 in the 1st half 2nd on the team so maybe it's just me thinking he plays solid defense.

KP gets it to Brunson, the hot hand!
Dangit, Brunson returns the favor, but KP bricks it short, again. Brunson should have shot that himself.

why would take WCS off Siakam
Boucher is no threat you put Luka on Boucher and put Willie back on Siakam

I was talking about around the goal. The Raptors have scored on him with ease there.

I hate when players just throw themselves into the defender and gets the foul
No way Lowry should be shooting FT's

They’ve scored easier when he’s not there. He has altered shots there
Edit: like just now at the buzzer

True enough, and since we aren’t working with these players on a daily basis, we fans don’t really know. Also, a person doesn’t need to be a genius to be a good player, and smart players make dumb mistakes all the time. I’m not out on Willie, or sold on him, yet. He’s looked good so far this season.

So we can touch their players and it's a foul but they get to bull rush our guys and it's not a foul unless we hit the deck LOL

Are we watching the same game? Maybe a couple times, but I've seen them score around the goal many times easily on him.

Come on coach
The minute Lowry saw we had 4 guards on the floor with Johnson he went straight to the rim
Make these dudes shoot a 3 to end the QTR

I guess not. Getting scored on happens. That’s not the same as a sieve especially when he’s altered shots at the rim.

Boy, that's a really sketchy foul on JJ there. The shooter just fell down.

His primary matchup has been Siakam most of the night
Sikam is 4-16 shooting
He's been on Boucher a few times but those have been his primary matchups tonight.
Maybe your talking about when the guards beat their man and he comes to help out

yeah I don't understand what they are saying because the Mavs worst defense all game has been when they have gone small
The lineup with Burke and Johnson has given them offense but defensively that lineup has the worst +/-
Burke is -14
Johnson is -19 tonight
It's not all their fault but it's hard to defend when they go small because then everything comes at the rim

I’m watching the Toronto broadcast, and holy shit is this announcer terrible. We as Dallas fans are really spoiled with the announcers we have for all our Dallas teams.

Almost looked like a kick out by the shooter, but John may not have given the shooter a place to land.
