Hell yeah!! He's playing with confidence- and I feel anytime he's played poorly in the post, it was almost always just from a lack of confidence.
Also, I'm watching the Spurs broadcast, and it's hilarious listening to them complain about Luka complaining and getting rewarded for it.

Quickest fast break I’ve ever seen from the Mavs. Brunson to Hardaway

Mavs need to get more separation so that they can sit the starters for tomorrow.
If Woods is Out that should help KP sit out

Iwundu on LMA lol. Limited roster will do that.
Mavs have to be close to leading the league in missed wide open 3s

I hate when they leave little guys on the floor to box out and defend the paint.
Green can at least rebound better than Burke, THJ and Brunson

Just put in WCS and play zone defense again
Spurs killing them on the boards and attacking the paint vs our little guys

yeah look at the defensive lineup on the floor compounded by the lack of size to rebound

Shitty, awful, horrible 4th quarter, but goddamn if Luka doesn't pull it out in the end. Fakes multiple defenders out for a tough bank shot, and right back on the next play find Brunson for a wide open three.

Man they need to get DFS, Kleber and Richardson back soon
They had a top 10 defense before those guys went down and now they are giving up 112+ each night.
Also, I'm worried about tomorrow because Cousins was physically bullying us that 1st game until he got kicked out.
RC should give Boban that assignment because both KP and Willie are too thin to match up with him.

Enough can't be said about the season THJ is having so far. Contract season? Hey, I'll take it whatever the reason. He has been playing the best basketball of his career lately imo outside of that one game.

39.5% last year and 40.5% this year
And people say they want to replace THJ with a SG/SF who can shoot threes.

Not just someone who can shoot threes....
A more well rounded player who can give you more than just 3's like ball handling, rebounding and a little defense. I wouldn't swap him for Buddy Hield because i view them as the same player but someone like Oladipo and Lavine for example those are guys who bring more than just shooting.
The problem with THJ is he only offers you shooting and when he's not on your in trouble because he gets exposed on defense and doesn't much of anything else.
Tonight was actually a good example he played 38 minutes and 2 rebounds and 0 assist.
Offensively he's good enough to be a fantastic 6th man but as a starter if that shot isn't falling you start to see all other warps. I even cringe when ever he goes to dribble LOL!

Wesley Iwundu won the Defensive Player of the Game belt on Jan. 22. He scored just two points but made some key plays on that end of the floor. The Mavs outscored San Antonio by three in his 24 minutes of action.

Loved KP tonight. He has showed alot of poise the last 3 games. Letting the game come to him, not forcing....we know he can hit the 25 footer, doent mean you need to take it.

I still don't trust him. He was a career 34% 3 point shooter now he's been shooting 40% for us in a season plus, when/ if he comes back to earth he will be unplayable on a good team ...like you said he's bad defensively and he never passes.

I actually like THJ and I know sometimes I'm hard on him. But I feel like he is much better off being a 6th man like Lou Williams or Jordan Clarkson.
There's nothing wrong with that because both of those guys are defensive liabilities but you can cover it up much better when they are playing off the bench.
THJ has played a total of 22 Playoff games in his career and his 3-PT % in the playoffs is 29%.
He shot 35% for the Mavs last year which was league average so I guess that's solid enough when you consider that defenses play tougher in the playoffs.
But again in the playoffs if that shot struggles he pretty much becomes unplayable because he can't rebound or defend good enough to be a starter.
A dream scenario would be to swap him out for either Lavine or Oladipo but that's just wishful thanking by me.

THAT’s the Brunson I want to see going forward. Not pressing, nothing forced. Let the game come to him. Burke was also more disciplined offensively in this one. They both played well in the same game which has been a relative rarity.

Luka has the 3rd highest mid-range jumper FG% in the NBA right now
Tonight marks the third career first quarter with 15+ points, 5+ rebounds and 5+ assists for Luka Dončić.
Since Dončić came into the league, no other player has recorded 15-5-5 in the opening quarter.
In his last 9 games, Luka Doncic has...
— 5 triple-doubles
— 3 more games an assist or rebound shy of a triple-double
Tonight vs. Spurs: 36 pts, 11 assists, 9 reb
KP & Luka combined for 57
Porziņģis is now averaging 22 ppg, 8.7 rpg and 1.8 bpg
on 50/35/83 shooting. All in just 30 mpg.

Jalen Brunson’s updated numbers for the entire 2020-21 season:
50.5% FG (50-99)
39.4% 3FG (13-33)
92.3% FT (24-26)

that was sick!
some serious soccer skillz
If Jalen can shoot 50/40/90 off the bench - that'd be amazing
