I've been speaking of him all year.

That dude is a stud if you pay attention to him.

He's a smart 6th man doesn't take many bad shots and has been lighting it up since last year for them.

Powell is not really doing anything and I will take Carlisle 5 seasons to realize it. Too stubborn. What happened to all that talk about defense? Was it all talk? Other team rebounds and scores 70 pts but no one is upset? Geez. Honestly, Mavs need new blood from a coaching standpoint. Mavs have no system offensively and no defense.

I'm not even sure what the point was of playing him especially over Boban.

He basically just ran up and down the floor set a few picks and then watched Gobert get dunk after dunk

But in all fairness to Powell it's not his fault that RC believes the dude will get back to that elite rim runner roll again

Also, in fairness to DP, it's not his fault that he is way undersized to try to deal with Gobert. That is what Boban or WCS is for, but not in Rick's fantasy world. Gobert can't even shoot FTs, so come on, Rick. Put in WCS and/or Boban and put him on the line. That's what your fouls are for.

I love KP and WCS but they simply aren't emotional enough to anchor this team inside.

Gobert can't shoot worth a lick but the dude's motor is always running.

They just played last night and had to make a big comeback and yet look at their energy level vs Dallas.

I've been saying it's the players that were missing the entire team is just low energy players.

Really? How many points does DP have in 7 minutes? Oh, right, he has zero points. At least, Boban is usually good for some instant offense and points. DP is giving us nothing tonight.

Because there is no system to take advantage of KPs strengths. They are just out there free-flowing it. So, KP hangs out in the 3 pt line. I think Boban would have made a difference. More than DP for sure. Where is WCS?
