Seattle trades: SF Rashard Lewis (17.8 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.2 apg in 36.6 minutes)
C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.0 minutes)
Seattle receives: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
SF Luis Flores (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -8.7 ppg, -2.1 rpg, and +1.9 apg.
Dallas trades: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
SF Josh Howard (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
SF Jon Stefansson (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
SF Luis Flores (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
SF Pavel Podkolzine (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
Future 2nd round Draft Choice
Dallas receives: C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 71 games)
C Jamaal Magloire (13.7 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 1.1 apg in 82 games)
PG Darrell Armstrong (10.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.9 apg in 79 games)
Change in team outlook: +6.6 ppg, +3.3 rpg, and -0.6 apg.
New Orleans trades: C Jamaal Magloire (13.7 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 1.1 apg in 33.9 minutes)
PG Darrell Armstrong (10.6 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 3.9 apg in 28.5 minutes)
New Orleans receives: SF Rashard Lewis (17.8 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.2 apg in 80 games)
SF Josh Howard (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 67 games)
SF Jon Stefansson (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 67 games)
SF Pavel Podkolzine (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 67 games)
Future 2nd Round Draft Choice
Change in team outlook: +2.1 ppg, -1.2 rpg, and -1.3 apg.
TRADE ACCEPTED
Seatle and New Orleans are two teams who are not getting any consideration to even make the playoffs in the west, so they might be willing to re-build.
For Seatle, this would get rid of a bad contracr and get a max-out expiring deal. They would be far enough under the cap to sign anyone in the NBA next year.
ray allen, walker, potopenko, james will all come off the books next year.
If New orleans doesnt want mashburn, they are getting great replacements at SF with lewis and howard. They get a project cener and a draft pick.
Baron/wesley
Howard/peterson/wesley
Lewis/Lynch/peterson
Davis west/chris anderson/PJ brown
Pj Brown/ Bhris anderson
*mashburn will be traded somewhere else for a big man
Mavs- get east all-star center, great backup PG, forced to take on contract of booth

NO would laugh at the idea of doing this trade. Why would NO trade one of the best young centers in the game in Magloire? No team in their right mind gives away a young C when it's the toughest position to fill. Plus, NO is still a solid playoff contender so they're not going to throw away their best player for virtually nothing in return. They're not rebuilding. And P. J. Brown isn't a C, he has played PF all his career, plus he's getting old and doesn't have the size. Also, NO doesn't have any reliable backups at C to take Magloire's place. NO isn't going to start C. Anderson or R. Traylor at C because neither are big enough to play there, plus Andersen played mostly backup PF in DEN with Elson coming off the bench at C and Andersen has no game other than rebounding and shot-blocking so he's hardly starter-material.
Also, Luis Flores is a PG, Jon Stefansson is a PG/SG, and Pavel Podkolzine is a C (you had them as SF's).

I know what position they are. I wouldnt expect a 7'5" 300 punder to be a SF. Real GM does that to players who dont have any experience, they give them the position of the player above them on the trade.

Awful trade idea. There isnt any semblance of equality, other than the salaries.
That said, I'd do it, but its so hypothetical it gives me a migraine.

RE:Jamal Magloire/darrell Armstrong?
OK OK, that was pretty onesided. I have another trade that i dont want to start a new thread for (because it is also a little un-even...but i want to see what others think)
Atlanta trades: PF Al Harrington (13.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.7 apg in 30.9 minutes)
1st round pick
Atlanta receives: PF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
SF Josh Howard (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
C Cezary Trybanski (0.1 ppg, 0.1 rpg, 0.0 apg in 2.1 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +6.5 ppg, +7.5 rpg, and +1.7 apg.
Dallas trades: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
PF Tariq Abdul-Wahad (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
PG Tony Delk (6.0 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 15.4 minutes)
SF Josh Howard (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
SF Jon Stefansson (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 23.7 minutes)
2nd round pick
Dallas receives: PF Al Harrington (13.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.7 apg in 79 games)
C Nazr Mohammed (7.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.5 apg in 80 games)
PG Moochie Norris (3.5 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 66 games)
Change in team outlook: -4.4 ppg, -2.3 rpg, and -2.9 apg.
New York trades: C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
C Nazr Mohammed (7.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.5 apg in 20.1 minutes)
PG Moochie Norris (3.5 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 1.8 apg in 12.8 minutes)
C Cezary Trybanski (0.1 ppg, 0.1 rpg, 0.0 apg in 2.1 minutes)
New York receives: PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 82 games)
PG Tony Delk (6.0 ppg, 1.8 rpg, 0.9 apg in 33 games)
SF Jon Stefansson (8.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.5 apg in 67 games)
ATL's 1st round pick
DAL's 2nd round pick
Change in team outlook: -2.1 ppg, -5.2 rpg, and +1.2 apg.
TRADE ACCEPTED
ATL- they can afford taking on contract like TAW becaue they can never sign a FA (plus insurance will pay 80% of it). This wouldnt work if they land Dampier, but maybe. They were able to get harrington for s.jackson... would anyone not deal jackson for those 4 players?
Dal- Trim roster and payroll (most importantly TAW), get a center, pg, and a great yound talent.
NY- get walker, a lottery pick, a second rounder, and delk. They are left exposed at C though, that could break the deal.

RE:Jamal Magloire/darrell Armstrong?
Seattle gets screwed in this deal at least talent wise. I'd much rather have Rashard Lewis as opposed to Walker. What does NW do with all of those small forwards. Magloire would be a great addition, but there is no way he makes it as an all-star out west.

If I was making the decisions for Dallas, I'd do it for either trade.
With that said, I don't think any other team does it.

I predicted Armstrong and Booth in one deal... not bad. Too bad Magluire never worked out
