Any time travelers arrived yet or are they still waiting?

I wonder how much the Clintons are paying Trump to tank the Republican party?

Not that I care who wins, just as long as there are several years of war ahead of us -- it's time to cull those damn millennials down to a reasonable number!

I bet he'd do it just for a chance to open a casino on the National Mall.

Politics in this country will never be the same after these primaries. Trump and Bernie have paved the way for outsiders to come in and wreck sh** up. And I think it's a good thing long term. I mean, Trump ran Bush out of the race early and Bernie was within striking distance of taking down the most known figure in the Democratic party. I wonder where the Dems and Repubs go from here to satisfy those who are tired of old politics.

I can't believe our country has now at the point to where Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump will be representing the two parties... If you would have asked me to create a list of the worst possible candidates two years ago, those two would have been very near the top. It's embarrassing.

Bernie is going to pave the way for bigger showings for independents. Trump is going to pave the way for celebrities running as publicity stunts.

Well if the rules would change about who gets what money, then I think we'd finally have 4 maybe 5 candidates running for president in the general. Trump, Clinton, Sanders, and Cruz are all popular enough to be running. Alas, money makes the world go 'round.

And I also agree about Clinton vs Trump. But hey, people who complain and bitch about Obama...be careful what you wish for. For all his faults, I sincerely doubt Trump or Clinton will be even a third of the president he is/was.

Obama is basically the stepping stone to reaching Hillary/Trump. Obama was elected because of the celebrity generated because of his race + political affiliation. He had no practical positive experience that would lead one to believe that he would be successful. He's the Oprah President. He's really very little different from what we are seeing that has lead to the current cast of buffoons.

next president should be about voting liberal left or republican right as the reshaping of the supreme court could be at hand and that casts a very long shadow.

@espn_macmahon: "No comment." -- Mark Cuban when asked if he would consider a presidential campaign four years from now.

Mark Cuban predicts stock market "correction" (i.e. "crash") if Trump elected; suggests Trump as POTUS would be out of his intellectual depth.

Quote:
Mark Cuban: Trump as President Could Wreak Havoc on Wall Street

Mark Cuban is rich, outspoken and hosts a reality show -- all commonalities with Donald Trump. But he told CNN on Monday that if the election were held today, he'd probably vote for Hillary Clinton.

Speaking to Erin Burnett, Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, was critical of Trump for not investing the time to do a "deep dive" and understand the issues.

In fact, he says that Trump presents a problem for Wall Street, in that it likes certainty and not shifting positions.

"When you have that amount of uncertainty, when there's, you know, flip-flopping, when you're not sure what the candidate is going to say from one thing to another, that uncertainty, you know, potentially as president of the United States, that's the last thing Wall Street wants to hear," he says. "And I can say with 100% certainty that there's a really good chance we could see a huge, huge, correction. Even today, there was an article on Reuters that said that Carl Icahn, supposedly someone who's supporting Donald and is mentoring him, in economics and finance, has taken a huge, 150% short position."

"That's not a good thing. That's horrific."

Cuban praised Trump last summer, saying that he had "changed the game" with his unconventional campaign.

"Look, I like Donald," Cuban said. "And I think he's done a lot of great things. When it comes to real estate, I'll defer to him every time. But to be president of the United States, you have to make an investment. You have to be committed to always learning. In business, to be a great CEO, to be a great investor, to be a great entrepreneur ... you have to have a commitment to learning. You have to have a commitment to always finding out what's next. Donald just hasn't done that."

"You know, where Donald has come from to today, you would think that he'd be more [knowledgeable] on the issues — that we would look at what he's had to say and say you know what, he's really picked up some in-depth knowledge, he's nuanced on different topics, whether it's immigration, whether it's the jobs plan, whether it's the economy, whatever it may be," he said. "But that just hasn't happened. And to me, that's a problem."

Cuban said it's clear Trump "hasn't invested the time" to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges facing the country. Trump, he opined, is "probably not as smart as he thinks he is."

Cuban's support for Clinton was hardly enthusiastic. He said that "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know."

Yeah, I'm not making that argument. I can see how he rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but the same can be said about both people running for president... And unlike either, Cuban always means what he says -- no pandering, no backpedaling. He'll even admit when he's wrong, eventually (like, maybe 3-4 years after the fact).

Trump is an unstable pathological liar who is rich and acts like a douchey rich guy while being a RINO

Hillary is a pathological liar who is rich and pretends to be an everyday Joe while being a DINO.

This is what America has come to.

This is what America has come to.
Serious question: is the American public too stupid for Democracy to work anymore? Too lazy? Too apathetic? Too afraid?

There are over 300 million people in this country, and this is the *best* we could come up with...

Well Hillary was going to win the nomination no matter since the Dem rules are corrupt and few candidates cared to run against her.

The repubs had like 20 candidates, and they chose Trump. I can't stand Hillary, but you gotta be some kinda special to vote for Trump.

I mean what do you do when the odds are completely stacked against you? When companies use money to not only dictate laws and keep politicians in their pockets, but also, thanks to Citizens United, elections. What do you do when pharmaceutical companies spend more or marketing than research to introduce unnecessary, overpriced drugs to the populace? How do you stop defense contractors from hiring former politicians who use their buddies to earn deals and then charge the taxpayers a thousand dollars for a roll of toilet paper?

George Carlin haunting us from the grave:

"Now, there's one thing you might have noticed I don't complain about: politicians. Everybody complains about politicians. Everybody says they suck. Well, where do people think these politicians come from? They don't fall out of the sky. They don't pass through a membrane from another reality. They come from American parents and American families, American homes, American schools, American churches, American businesses and American universities, and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces: Garbage in, garbage out. If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. Term limits ain't going to do any good; you're just going to end up with a brand new bunch of selfish, ignorant Americans. So, maybe, maybe, maybe, it's not the politicians who suck. Maybe something else sucks around here... like, the public. Yeah, the public sucks. There's a nice campaign slogan for somebody: 'The Public Sucks. F*ck Hope."

Unfortunately, Hillary is every bit as bad as Trump and has already proven inept as a politician.

Hillary is the worst kind of politician, but at least she's a politician. Trump doesn't even know how the presidency works -- most of what he's proposed are Congressional or Supreme Court issues that the POTUS would have very little control over... Dude thinks he's gonna be king.

So basically things have gotten so bad in this country that the strongest candidate against Hillary's brand of tyranny is a buffoon who doesn't even understand what the job entails... That's some watered-down weaksauce right there, America. We should be ashamed and embarrassed.

$10 says Trump will retort that Cuban has manboobs.
$5 says Trump will actually try to give Cuban the nickname "Boobin' Cuban".

Quote:
Mark Cuban Questions Whether Trump Is Actually A Billionaire

Cuban Interview

Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban on Wednesday questioned whether Donald Trump is actually a billionaire, saying Trump’s lack of transparency with his finances makes his net worth difficult to determine.

“I know what I’m good at, and I know what I’m not good at. [Editorial Comment: Debateable.] I’m not so sure Donald knows what he’s not good at,” Cuban said on 77 WABC’s Bernie and Sid.

Cuban said Trump was good at putting his name on big buildings and licensing his name on hotels, but it isn’t clear how much money that has made him. “He’s good at that. Whether or not that’s made him a billionaire, I don’t know,” Cuban said. “He’s not transparent enough for us to actually know.”
Cuban said he went over Trump’s FEC filings and saw Trump was “horrible” at many aspects of business.

“I think he’s good at real estate; I do give him a lot of credit there. I think he’s good at branding real estate,” he said. “I don’t think he’s very good at brands for non–real estate products. And, to me, it’s more a reflection of desperation.

“So when you’re putting your name on steaks, and you’re putting your name on water, you’re putting your name on playing cards, you’re putting your name on all this nonsense, right? You’re not gonna make big bucks, no matter what. It’s not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million. It’s not like it was gonna make him $5 million.”

“I asked, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ Are you that desperate for money?’

Seriously,” Cuban said, saying Trump couldn’t say no if someone was going to write him a check.

Later in the interview, Cuban said he has more money than Trump.

“It’s not even close, I do,” Cuban said. “Before all the Trumpians jump on me on who has more money, the reason I know is when you file your federal election campaign reports, you have to list all your cash and liquid securities and bonds. You have to list them one by one. So we know without any question that as of May 27, Donald doesn’t have more than $165 million in cash and securities and bonds.

“And trust me, I’ve got a lot of more than that in cash, securities, and bonds,” he continued. “And so you know, I’m willing to bet dimes against dollars that that’s pretty much what he’s got.”
